RaceChip Refund Policy

At RaceChip, our commitment lies in delivering premium products and exceptional customer service.
We recognize that situations may arise where initiating a refund for your RaceChip product becomes necessary.
This refund policy has been devised to provide a clear and effortless refund procedure, ensuring a seamless experience from initiation to completion.

Step 1: Eligibility for Refund
Prior to proceeding with a refund request, we kindly ask that you confirm your situation aligns with the following criteria:
• The refund request is submitted within a span of 14 days from the original purchase date.
• The product remains in its original state, including all accompanying accessories, packaging, and documentation.
• The product has not undergone installation, usage, modification, or suffered damage resulting from misuse.

Step 2: Initiating the Refund Request
Should you wish to initiate a refund, please adhere to these steps:
1. Reach out to our Customer Support Team via email at support@apexmotorsport.co.za.
2. Supply your order number, purchase date, and a concise explanation outlining the reason for the refund.

Step 3: Inspection and Verification
Upon receipt of your refund request, our team will diligently review the provided information to ascertain the product's eligibility for refund. This assessment typically concludes within 1-2 business days.

Step 4: Approval and Return Instructions
Upon successful approval of your refund request, an email notification will be dispatched, containing:
• Confirmation of the approved refund.
• Comprehensive instructions for returning the product, encompassing return address details and packaging guidelines.
• A distinctive RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number to be affixed to the return package.

Step 5: Returning the Product
Efficiently return the product following these steps:
1. Securely package the product in its original casing, incorporating all accessories and documentation.
2. Clearly write the provided RMA number on the package's exterior.
3. Use a shipping method that can be tracked, so you can easily track your return. Sending the package back is your responsibility, and we can only take responsibility once we've received it safely at our office.

Step 6: Inspection and Processing
Once the returned product reaches our premises, our team will conduct a thorough inspection to confirm its compliance with the criteria outlined in Step 1.
A successful inspection will prompt the initiation of the refund procedure.

Step 7: Refund Processing
Refunds will be processed utilizing the same payment method employed during the initial purchase.
Please consider the following:
• Credit / Debit Card Payments: Refunds usually require 7-10 business days to reflect in your account, contingent upon your bank's processing timeline.
• EFT Payments: Refunds will be processed within 10 working days following the receipt of the package at our office.

Step 8: Refund Confirmation
Upon successful completion of the refund process, an email notification will be dispatched. This correspondence will detail the refunded amount along with pertinent transaction particulars.

Please note:
• A 25% Admin/Restocking fee is applicable to all refunds.
• Courier fees are non-refundable.
• Software charges (reprogram) are non-refundable.
• Special orders are non-refundable.
• Return courier costs are the responsibility of the customer.
• Door-to-door delivery is required.
